📚 Dr. D'Orsogna is a renowned professor of Mathematics at California State University, Northridge and has served as the Associate Director at the Institute for Pure and Applied Math at UCLA.

📍 In 2007, she discovered proposed oil activities in her beloved home region of Abruzzo, Italy. Through her efforts in raising awareness, educating the public, and engaging with various stakeholders, Dr. D'Orsogna halted numerous oil projects and played a pivotal role in establishing protective measures for Italy’s coastline.
